President Tinubu reacts over the killing of five soldiers in Aba.
President Bola Tinubu has issued a response to the killing of five soldiers in Aba, Abia State. He has instructed security agents to track down the perpetrators of the attack, as well as those responsible for the call for a sit-at-home in the South-East.
Tinubu emphasized that no one should have the audacity to kill state agents. He condemned the murder of the soldiers and warned that the Federal Government will take strong action against those who continuously attack the armed forces.
Tinubu called for the masterminds and perpetrators of the Aba attack, as well as those promoting the sit-at-home order, to be brought to justice.
He stressed that the government has the ability to crush non-state actors who threaten the safety of communities. He expressed condolences to the families of the slain soldiers and encouraged other peacekeeping personnel not to be discouraged by the incident.
