Omoyele Sowore, the 2023 Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress Party (AAC), refuses to join Atiku, Obi, and others in what he calls a massive fraud.

Sowore stated in an interview with Pulse Nigeria that he is not interested in gaining the support of Peter Obi’s followers and does not want to be misrepresented. He also made it clear that he has no intention of forming an alliance with political heavyweights like Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to challenge President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 election.
During the interview, Sowore discussed his RevolutionNow movement, emphasizing that it aims to bring an end to the oppressive system in Nigeria. He also outlined his political ideology, which leans towards socialism and prioritizes the welfare of the Nigerian people.
Sowore expressed his skepticism about electoral reforms in Nigeria, stating that a revolution is needed to address the governance issues in the country. He also addressed the criticism of his decision to contest in elections despite his lack of faith in the electoral system.

Sowore dismissed the notion that he is embittered by Peter Obi’s popularity on social media and reiterated that he does not seek the support of Obi’s followers. He also ruled out the possibility of forming an alliance with Obi, stating that his heart lies with the PDP.
