Kogi State: Tribunal affirms Ododo as Kogi State governor, dismisses SDP Ajaka’s allegations
The Kogi State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal in Abuja has upheld Usman Ahmed Ododo as the rightful governor of Kogi State, dismissing allegations of forgery made by the Social Democratic Party and its candidate, Murtala Ajaka.
The tribunal, led by Justice Ado Birnin-Kudu, confirmed Ododo’s victory in the election held on November 11, 2023, where he defeated his opponents with a significant margin.
Despite claims of over-voting and forgery, the tribunal ruled in favor of Ododo, affirming his position as the governor of Kogi State.
