On Friday night, Fubara addressed the audience at the Praise Night event held at the Obi Wali International Conference Centre in Port Harcourt.
The event was organized by the State Government to celebrate Fubara’s first anniversary. Former Governor of Rivers State, Peter Odili and his wife, Justice Mary Odili, were present at the event.
Gov Simi Fubara, expressed gratitude for the obstacles removed by God and reiterated his commitment to putting the interests of the people first with the mantra, Rivers First.
Gov Simi Fubara called on all well-meaning individuals in Rivers to support his administration and help advance the state’s fortunes.
Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof Ngozi Odu conveyed Fubara’s message of victory and faith in God’s support.
Gov Simi Fubara urged the people of Rivers to stand strong and contribute to the state’s sustainable development, as God had already paved the way for their success.
