Omoyele Sowore is calling on the labour union to remain steadfast in their position.

The 2023 Presidential Candidate of the African Action Congress Party (AAC) , is calling on Labour union leaders to resist the proposed ₦60,000 Minimum Wage by the Federal Government, stating that it is a slave wage that should not be accepted.

Sowore believes it is time for Nigerian workers to demand a fair living wage.

This statement was seen on his Social Media page (X) yesterday, where he said,

“I am urging the leadership of the labour unions, Nigeria Labour Congress and The Trade Union Congress not to back down; they MUST reject the N60k slave wage being proposed by the Tinubu regime. The time for Nigerian workers’ total struggle for a living wage is now”
